Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English model, actress and a singer who soared to fame in the 1990s when she was Hugh Grant's girlfriend. In 1994 as Grant began to draw the world's media due to his worldwide box-office success of his movie Four Weddings and a Funeral Hurley attended the film's Los Angeles premiere in a plunging black Versace gown, which was pinned together by gold safety pins which gained an instant attention from the media. Hurley's involvement with Estee Lauder, a cosmetics maker, has been seen as the pinnacle of her professional life. Estee Lauder offered Hurley the first model opportunity in the year she turned 29. They have used as models for their products, particularly perfumes such as Sensuous Intuition as well as Pleasures since 1995. In the action-packed spy films International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), she appeared as Vanessa Kensington. It was a controversial song in that critics had a problem with its stance on promoting sexual relationships as well as others who claimed it portrays a racy and sexually charged scene in which men fantasized about female sexuality. But the mixture of polished and titillating melody made I Kissed a Girl become the number one song in a variety of countries and drove sales for her album One of the Boys (2008). The album's second hit single Hot N Cold also proving an enormous hit, the album that Perry created herself ultimately registered sales of more than 3 million copies across the United States.
